Charmed Interiors is well known for ready-made curtains but did you know we also make made-to-measure curtains?

What are made-to-measure curtains?

As the name suggests, made-to-measure curtains and blinds are bespoke window dressings that have been made to the exact dimensions of your windows and using your fabric of choice.

Why choose made-to-measure curtains?

There are several reasons why you might choose made-to-measure curtains and blinds. If you have window dimensions that are a little out of the ordinary then made-to-measure can be the best way of getting curtains and blinds that really fit the space well. Likewise for bay windows that may require multiple panels, made-to-measure can be a good choice. 

You might also choose made-to-measure if the curtain fabric that you like is not available as a ready-made. This can be a really useful option if you are trying to match bed linen or have simply fallen in love with a particular fabric.

How does the Charmed Interiors made-to-measure service work?

1. Pop in to see us

To get started please come in to the store and speak with our team. 

2. Dimensions

You are free to measure your windows yourself and send us the measurements. We will provide you with guidance to make this as easy as possible. Or, if you live within 10 miles of Spalding*, then a member of our curtain team will be happy to come out to your home and measure up for you. 

3. Fabric

Now for the fun part, choosing your fabric! We have a large selection of curtain fabric in our shop in Spalding where you can see and feel samples in real life.

You're also welcome to supply your own fabric. If you've found a fabric that you like it's well worthing letting us know before you buy it, as we might be able to price-match or even buy it in at a discount.

4. Estimate

We offer a free estimation service and will provide you with a written estimate. You can add curtain poles, finials and voile panels to the job - again we have a large selection of these at our Spalding shop that you can inspect.

5. Manufacture 

Your curtains will be made to your exact requirements. 

6. Collection

Once your curtains have been made you can collect then in store and pay any remaining balance.

7. Installation

You can choose to hang your new curtains yourself or use our optional installation service*. Charges apply depending on installation required, please ask in store.

8. Feel Smug

Enjoy your new curtains!
